In 2013 Douglas and Helen Scott-Watson, farmers from Kelso bought The Border Hotel. The Hotel was somewhere we had both grown up with visiting and enjoying it’s good food and hospitality and we work to continue that heritage.
We enjoy working with the fantastic staff most of whom are local to the village, they are as loyal and attached to it as we are.
We are an active family who walk, run, ride and take part in lots of local outdoor activities and events.
As farmers we understand about producing quality food, the Hotel uses organic free range eggs from our hens. We have great local producers supplying the hotel with quality produce.
